Greeley is located in the region known as Northern Colorado. Greeley is situated 49 miles (79 km) north-northeast of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. According to the 2010 Census, the population of the city is 92,889. Greeley is the 12th most populous city in the State of Colorado. Greeley is a major city of the large Front Range Urban Corridor.
