Jackson Community College (also known as JCC) is a community college located in Jackson County, Michigan. Originally established as Jackson Junior College in 1928, Jackson County electors voted to reincorporate the institution as a Community College District under Public Act 188 of 1955 in 1962. In 1964 voters approved a charter millage that continues to fund the community college to this day.

JCC has held continuous accreditation by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1933 and offers 48 different degree and certificate programs at low cost to Jackson County and Michigan residents. It is a comprehensive community college dedicated to providing quality learning opportunities for individual growth and community involvement.

Today, the College serves nearly 12,000 students each year between its several locations, from its main campus located in Summit Township, the Flight Center at the Jackson County Airport, JCC@LISD TECH (vocational-technical school) in Adrian, Lenawee Flight Center in Adrian, and the LeTarte Hillsdale Center in Hillsdale, as well as online programs that reach around the globe. Also, as of August 11, 2007, JCC's main campus opened the doors of its new Campus View student housing facilities, now serving as one of only a handful of community college in Michigan to offer student housing. The College provides a variety of Division II athletic programs, the most of any community college in the State.

JCC prepares students for careers in high-demand fields through personal involvement, instruction and real-world learning. The College offers associate's degrees, certificate programs, and transfer options to students. Classes are available year-round in a variety of formats, including traditional classroom teaching and online courses.
