Highline Community College is a community college located in Des Moines, Washington, south of Seattle, Washington. Highline was founded in 1961 as the first community college in King County. The main campus is located on 80 acres (320,000 m2) of hilltop land that overlook Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains to the west. Currently there are approximately 10,000 students and 350,000 alumni of the college.NBA player, Brian Scalabrine, who has often been described as a fan favorite, went to college here before transferring to the University of Southern California.
